What Does CNA Coursework Include?
As an aspiring CNA, you’ll learn to provide basic care related to the patient’s daily living, including assistance with dressing, grooming and eating, and helping with bed-making and meal-serving in residential care settings. Under the direction of supervising medical professionals, you may also be asked to take blood pressure, pulse and other vital signs, and document them appropriately. Once you become a CNA, some annual continuing education is required to maintain your professional certification.
